Any cat lover worth their salt knows that a cat's favorite spot is more sacred than Sheldon's spot in the Big Bang Theory. Whomever dares approach said spot had better be armed with treats unless they wish to feel their feline's wrath. They have fought tooth and nail to claim their throne and they will defend it at all costs.

Sadly for the pawrents of said cat children, most of these spots are very inconvenient to the hooman lifestyle. You see, cats enjoy seclusion in their spots, and put it as a priority. Which is relatively reasonable when you are small enough to be scooped up by almost any size of hooman and bundled like a little baby. But this often means that they will find a spot that is hard to reach for us hoomans putting our cat children firmly out of our grasp. This gives them a safe place to run to anytime we decide they need some sort of treatment they do not approve of.

And while it is very frustrating to have your cat child disappear on you as a pawrent when you are just trying to help them. There is a fate far worse than this amongst the secret spots that kitties choose to curl up in, and those are the vantage points. Some cats prefer to feel as though they are in a burrow with no light and no sight. But then there are those who feel the need to look over their land like a mighty ruler and in doing so they also add an additional fur supply to the air from their elevated pawsition, spreading little sprinkles of fur all over the house. So because it is more fun to revel in the misery of other cat pawrents as opposed to your own, we made this hilarious collection of cunning cat children who have taken command of their favorite secret spots.

A rather genius understanding of the old adage ‘if you cannot beat them join them’. For what this void must have figured out is that while he cannot get his paws on the birds that come to feed from this bird feeder. He can get his mitts on the food that is left for them. And seeing as it looks like a neverending supply from the purrspective of this cat child he looks to be more than satisfied with the fact that he can eat as much bird seed as he likes. Only question is who is going to break it to him that the food is not unlimited and refilled by the very hoomans who withhold his own treats and snacks.

Goodness gracious, what in the Narnia is this cat doing? It is not an unknown thing that cats love cozy dark spaces where it is hard to reach them. Pretty much any pawrent who has had a cat in their home for more than an hour will know that they love diving under bed frames, in the tiny crack between the couch and the floor, and of course any kind of cabinet or cupboard they can slip into. But this looks like the cat has found a trap door that leads to a secret cat condo. We hope his pawrents haven’t broken it to him that his condo has a giant door that is easy to open and scoop him out off…
